Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor entry and exit points at a commercial real estate location, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate access-related records.
  • Respond to access concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, access points, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Communicate professionally with site contacts, tenants, and emergency responders while supporting a welcoming, orderly environment.
