As a Security Officer Driver Patrol in Terre Haute, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Supervisory experience is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, tenants, shoppers, and/or visitors by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout storefronts, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas, assisting with crowd management, trespass issues, and/or policy violations in accordance with location procedures.
• Support retail property operations by communicating with store personnel, management, and/or local responders when appropriate regarding security-related incidents and observed concerns.
