As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Driver Patrol Shopping Center in Tustin, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide welcoming customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, retailers, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail common areas, parking facilities, exterior perimeters, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to established procedures.
• Monitor access points, observe activity throughout the location, and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities accurately while maintaining a professional presence and representing Allied Universal positively.
