As a Security Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor assigned areas, and communicate clearly with employees and visitors. This unarmed driving post requires a valid driver’s license that meets Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Requirements

  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 19 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting emergency personnel and/or site leadership as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials for employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel in accordance with site procedures.
  • Document patrol findings, incidents, hazards, and unusual activity through clear, accurate reports and timely communication.
