As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Guard in Wyandotte, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to all persons at the location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a chemical and petrochemical environment.
Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to the proper contacts.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards or maintenance concerns.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed by site policies, and support access control procedures for employees, contractors, and approved visitors.
Communicate with site personnel, supervisors, and/or first responders during routine operations and unusual events, while completing required reports and maintaining awareness of changing conditions at the location.
