Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations in accordance with site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential community, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and community activity, assist with visitor and/or contractor interactions, and communicate relevant information to property management or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Support a professional residential environment by following post orders, addressing routine concerns, and reporting maintenance, lighting, and/or property issues that could impact the location.
