About The Position

As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Documentation in NEW YORK, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist visitors and staff with professionalism and clear communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Have at least one year of security-related experience.
  • Possess proof of a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas; verify authorized access as directed; and report suspicious activity, incidents, or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency and security-related procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of government office spaces, public service areas, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and maintain required daily activity logs in accordance with site procedures.
