As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Detail in Irving, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a cultural institution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. You will also deliver outstanding customer service and communication while supporting a welcoming environment through teamwork, integrity, and a caring, innovative approach.

Requirements

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a cultural institution location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout galleries, exhibits, public areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor movement to help to deter disruptions, protect property, and support orderly operations during public hours and special events.
• Prepare clear, timely reports of incidents, patrol activity, and/or notable observations, and follow post instructions for documentation and escalation.
