Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol professional in a government location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post. Requirements

  • Must have 1+ years of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Must be 21+ years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and the public by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and help to document observations and actions taken according to site expectations.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to identify unusual activity, access concerns, and/or security-related issues.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, help to verify authorized access, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
  • Support public-facing operations by giving directions, answering general questions, and helping to maintain orderly activity during routine operations, meetings, and/or high-traffic periods.
