Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established healthcare location protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of building interiors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
  • Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
