As a Security Officer Driver Field Patrol in Corpus Christi, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be able to provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • A security professional guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout facilities, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or access permissions, and support visitor and vehicle control processes in accordance with site requirements.
  • Communicate with site contacts, local responders, and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or operational issues that may affect daily operations.
