About The Position

As a Security Officer - Driver Entry Control in Winter Garden, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal at a financial services location in an access control role where you help manage entry points, verify credentials, support badge issuance, and document visitor activity using computer-based systems. You will stay visible, complete routine patrols nearby, and provide polished customer service while communicating clearly with staff and guests. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license, backed by a caring team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by following site-specific access control procedures, verifying identification and/or credentials, and directing visitors, vendors, and employees as needed.
  • Monitor entry and exit points and security-related systems, maintain access logs, and report irregular activity per post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating emergency response activities and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct security-related screening of deliveries, packages, and service requests in accordance with financial institution location policies.
  • Complete required documentation such as incident reports, shift activity logs, and access-related records, and communicate key updates during shift turnovers.
