About The Position

As a Security Officer Driver Customer Service Rounds in Orlando, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. In this driving post, you will conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, observe and report concerns, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of shipping areas, loading docks, parking lots, facility grounds, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry of employees, visitors, vendors, and/or delivery personnel in accordance with site procedures.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, property damage, access violations, and other security-related concerns using established reporting protocols.
