About The Position

As a Security Officer Driver Credential Screening in West Memphis, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific access control procedures, checking credentials, and monitoring entry and exit activity at the location.
• Help to deter unauthorized access by verifying identification, maintaining visitor logs, issuing badges and/or passes, and communicating access concerns to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related activity and notifying the appropriate personnel when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, production areas, and perimeter, remaining aware of site conditions and reporting unusual activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns.
• Support security-related operations at a manufacturing and industrial location by following post orders, monitoring restricted areas, and assisting with emergency response activities when appropriate.
