About The Position

As a Security Officer Credential Driver in Sulphur, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location. In this driving post, you will monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials, support site rules, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents while representing Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Requirements

  • 1+ Years' Law Enforcement Experience OR 2+ Years' Security Supervisor/Manager Experience OR 3+ Years' Security Experience (C108)
  • Valid Driver's License - In Job State (C124)
  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • A minimum of 1 year of law enforcement experience or 2 or more years of security supervisor/manager experience or 3 or more years of security experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific access control procedures, checking credentials, and documenting entry and exit activity at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Monitor entry points, screening areas, and/or gate operations to help support authorized access, report unusual activity, and communicate security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or urgent situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and emergency response protocols for the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around access points, operational areas, and the perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
  • Complete required logs, reports, and/or incident documentation, including visitor processing, badge activity, vehicle records, and other security-related observations.
