Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic automotive location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence and professional communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors by following site-specific access control procedures, credential verification practices, and security-related policies at an automotive location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, confirm authorization for site access, and help to deter unauthorized entry by maintaining accurate visitor logs, badge distribution, and/or key control activities.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report unusual activity according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, noting access control issues, unsecured areas, and/or conditions that may require follow-up.
  • Support vehicle and pedestrian traffic flow at gates, lobbies, and/or designated checkpoints while providing clear directions and professional communication to all site personnel and guests.
