As a Security Officer Driver Badge Control in West Des Moines, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Security Officer supporting a financial institution, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor access points, and provide exceptional customer service. Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the banking location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, unauthorized access attempts, hazardous conditions, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, patrol activities, and observations in accordance with site-specific procedures and Allied Universal reporting requirements.
