As a Security Officer Driver Area Patrol in Catonsville, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine driving and foot patrols, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor customer and employee activity, assist with access and loss prevention support as directed by site policies, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations.
• Support opening and closing activities, help manage crowd flow during busy periods, and provide visible presence throughout the location to support daily operations.
