Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform screening procedures for individuals entering the logistics and distribution location, following all site-specific policies and protocols.
Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and/or delivery personnel with questions and directions as needed.
Carry out security-related procedures and respond to incidents or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or prohibited items from entering the location.
Document and report any irregularities, incidents, or unusual activities according to Allied Universal and client site requirements.
Communicate clearly and professionally with team members, site personnel, and emergency responders as needed.
Remain alert and attentive throughout the shift to help to deter potential security-related risks at the location.
