Job Description As a Security Officer - Distribution Entry Screener in Hutchins, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener with Allied Universal in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will conduct routine checks and interact with staff and visitors, delivering outstanding customer service and clear communication. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as needed.
Screen individuals and/or vehicles entering the logistics and distribution location according to established protocols.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or prohibited items from entering the premises.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
Document and report any observed irregularities or incidents in accordance with Allied Universal and client policies.
Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and management while carrying out assigned duties.
