As a Screener with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will interact with visitors and staff, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the logistics and distribution location.
Conduct screening of individuals, vehicles, and/or packages entering or exiting the facility to help to deter unauthorized access or prohibited items.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Document and report any security-related incidents, suspicious activity, or policy violations observed during the shift.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter potential threats and identify any irregularities.
Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate, including following evacuation procedures and communicating with emergency responders.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity and provide reassurance to staff and visitors at the logistics and distribution location.
