As a Security Officer Driver Vehicle Entry Verification in Stockton, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic logistics and distribution location. You will manage entry and exit points, verify credentials, monitor activity, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, drivers, visitors, and vendors at a logistics and distribution location by following site-specific access-control procedures and security-related policies.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and delivery appointments, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle access records.
  • Control access to designated areas, receiving and shipping zones, and other restricted locations in accordance with established procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency services when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, dock areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and support security-related operations.
