As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence. Your role involves monitoring assigned areas, interacting with visitors and team members, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

A guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
Screen individuals, vehicles, and/or packages entering or exiting the logistics and distribution location, following established protocols.
Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and report any suspicious activity.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to observe for irregularities and report findings.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by site procedures.
Communicate clearly and professionally with visitors, employees, and Allied Universal management.
Support the logistics and distribution location's operations by maintaining awareness of site-specific requirements and procedures.
