As an Allied Universal Security Officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will support access control by greeting drivers and associates, checking badges and IDs, managing visitor logs, and monitoring entry points and cameras. You will complete routine patrols and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents while delivering clear communication and customer service. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Control access at entry and exit points by checking identification, verifying visitor and contractor authorization, issuing temporary credentials, and maintaining visitor logs.
• Screen and monitor inbound and outbound traffic, including employees, visitors, vehicles, and deliveries, to help to deter unauthorized access and/or property removal.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, dock areas, parking lots, and perimeter points, and report maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or unusual activity per site procedures.
