As a Security Officer in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols and inspections, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access control for employees and visitors. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy Requirements, so you may patrol across the property by vehicle. Bring agility, teamwork, reliability, and integrity to every interaction.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients at a logistics and distribution location by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and communicating updates to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, loading dock areas, and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
- Monitor access points for employees, contractors, and visitors, including verifying identification, issuing visitor access as directed, and reporting unauthorized entry attempts.
- Observe inbound and outbound truck traffic and yard activity for unusual conditions, help to deter theft and/or damage, and report maintenance, lighting, and door or gate issues.
