Join Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will help manage access control, verify badges and credentials, monitor entry points, and conduct routine patrols. In this dynamic role, you will remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. Guided by teamwork, integrity, and a people-first culture, you will play an important part in supporting daily operations.

Requirements

• 1+ years of security-related experience required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Access control and badge experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, checking credentials for employees, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors, and following emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, gates, lobbies, and/or shipping and receiving areas to help support authorized access and document arrivals, departures, and unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site protocols and preparing clear activity and incident reports.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for access issues, unsecured areas, and/or other security-related concerns in warehouse, distribution, and outdoor environments.
• Communicate with site contacts, transportation personnel, and/or operations staff regarding visitor processing, delivery activity, and access-related questions while following established post orders and policies.
