In this driving post, you will help manage entry and exit activity, verify badges and credentials, support security-related protocols, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to all visitors, drivers, and employees by following site-specific access control procedures, checking credentials, and documenting entry and exit activity at the location.
  • Monitor gates, entrances, badge activity, and delivery traffic to help support authorized access for a logistics and distribution location while reporting unusual or unauthorized activity.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using appropriate emergency response activities and communication protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the building, shipping and receiving areas, parking areas, and perimeter, noting security-related concerns and/or maintenance issues.
  • Assist with visitor management, driver check-in, trailer and delivery verification, and other post duties that help support daily operations and established site policies.
