As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a fast-paced food and beverage location, you will support access control by checking credentials, issuing badges, monitoring entry points, and documenting activity. You will provide customer-focused directions to staff, visitors, and vendors while remaining visible to help discourage security-related incidents. This is a driving post that requires a valid driver’s license, and you will represent our agile, reliable, and innovative team with integrity.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A guard card and/or license is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, contractors, drivers, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Perform access control at entrances, gates, and/or receiving areas by verifying identification, authorizations, and visitor logs, and directing traffic to approved check-in locations.
Monitor inbound and outbound activity for the location, including deliveries and shipments, and report unusual conditions, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns to site leadership.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions taken per post orders.
Conduct regular and random patrols of production-adjacent areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity.
