About The Position

As a Security Officer - Dispatcher - Secret Clearance in Tucson, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Dispatch Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will coordinate communications, monitor alarm and access control systems, document security-related activity, and respond to incoming calls with professionalism. You will help maintain a secure environment through clear communication, strong customer service, and timely coordination with site personnel. Requirements

• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Monitor and dispatch calls, alarms, and service requests using radios, telephones, computer-aided dispatch systems, and/or other communication tools.
• Coordinate responses to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site personnel and emergency responders as directed.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident records, and communication documentation in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around assigned areas and the perimeter, reporting unusual conditions and security-related concerns.
