About The Position

As a Security Officer Dispatch Response Driver in Newark, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Dispatch Officer at a financial institution location, you will coordinate communications, monitor security-related systems, manage access-related activity, and support timely responses to incidents. You will use a computer or tablet to document information, communicate professionally with team members and visitors, and help maintain an orderly environment. Requirements

  • Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
  • Hold CPR/First Aid certification, preferred.
  • Have access control/badge experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
  • Monitor alarm systems, cameras, access-control activity, and incoming communications from a dispatch center, escalating security-related concerns according to established protocols.
  • Receive, prioritize, document, and coordinate responses to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, and related records while communicating relevant information to on-site personnel, management, and emergency responders as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random remote monitoring of the business, surrounding perimeter, and security-related systems to help identify unusual activity and support timely response.
