As a Security Officer - Dispatch Operations CRE in Richardson, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Dispatch Officer in a commercial real estate location, you will play a crucial role in monitoring and coordinating security-related activities to help create a secure environment. Responsibilities include operating alarm panels, managing access control systems, and maintaining communication with on-site teams. Requirements

  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and monitor access control systems for the commercial real estate location, facilitating authorized entry and exit.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate personnel as needed.
  • Operate dispatch communication equipment to relay information between site personnel and emergency services as required.
  • Document and report security-related incidents and activities according to site-specific policies and procedures.
  • Assist with customer service needs, providing information and guidance to tenants, visitors, and vendors at the location.
  • Support Allied Universal and client site procedures by maintaining awareness of site-specific policies and protocols.
  • Help to deter unauthorized activities through attentive monitoring of surveillance systems and communication with on-site personnel.
