Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following site-specific procedures, coordinating security-related communications, and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
Monitor alarms, cameras, phones, radios, and other communication systems to receive calls for service and dispatch personnel in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Document incidents, service requests, and routine activity in logs and reports, while sharing timely updates with site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and/or emergency responders as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations by prioritizing calls, relaying accurate information, and helping to coordinate the appropriate security-related response across the location.
Conduct regular and random patrol support functions through remote monitoring and dispatch oversight, helping to identify unusual activity around the business and perimeter as conditions vary by location.
