About The Position

As a Security Officer Dispatch Command Center in West Chester, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Dispatch Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will coordinate security-related communications, monitor alarms and incoming activity, and dispatch resources as needed. You will help maintain awareness across the site, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly with team members and stakeholders. Requirements

• Possess supervisory experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Candidates should have prior experience in a supervisory role, demonstrating leadership and management skills.
• Familiarity with access control systems and badge management is essential for ensuring security protocols are followed.
• Candidates must have experience operating alarm panels, including knowledge of emergency procedures and response protocols.
• Proficiency in using computers or tablets is required, as candidates will be expected to utilize technology for various tasks.
• Current CPR certification is mandatory to ensure the safety and well-being of employees and clients.
• Candidates should possess strong customer service skills, with a proven track record of effectively addressing client needs and concerns.

Nice To Haves

• Be comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• Possess CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Have alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Receive, prioritize, document, and dispatch calls for service, alarms, incidents, and requests to the appropriate personnel or resources.
• Monitor communications systems and maintain accurate logs, incident records, and dispatch activity reports in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating communications with site personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Coordinate regular and random patrol activity around the business and perimeter, helping to identify and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.
