About The Position

As a Security Officer Dispatch Call Intake in Newark, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Dispatch Professional in a financial institution location, you will monitor alarm activity, coordinate response communications, and support timely handling of security-related incidents. Requirements

  • Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.
  • Comfortably use a computer or tablet.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
  • Monitor and coordinate incoming calls, alarms, radio communications, and service requests; dispatch appropriate personnel in accordance with site procedures.
  • Document incidents, critical situations, visitor concerns, and communications accurately and promptly, responding in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Monitor access control, cameras, and other security-related systems; report unusual activity and escalate concerns to designated personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, as assigned, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
