As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a busy College Campus, you will support day-to-day security-related operations by monitoring activity, coordinating responses, and communicating clearly with teams on site. You will help maintain a visible, professional presence, document incidents, and assist with routine patrol coordination and access needs. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver’s license. Requirements
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor alarms, CCTV, phones, radios, and/or other communications systems; dispatch officers and/or maintenance response as needed and relay clear, timely information.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; gather key details, notify appropriate contacts, and document actions taken.
- Maintain accurate logs and reports including incident reports, dispatch records, key control entries, and equipment status updates in accordance with post orders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, production areas, and the perimeter; check doors, gates, and critical areas for irregular activity and report concerns.
