Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a leading aerospace and defense location. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet. This is preferred.
Possess a state, county, or city issued security license. This is preferred.
Have experience with access control or badge systems. This is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately during emergency situations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter, monitoring for unusual activity to help to deter potential threats.
Carry and responsibly handle assigned firearms in accordance with company policy and applicable laws while on duty.
Monitor access points and verify credentials to help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency personnel when required.
Remain alert and attentive throughout the shift, adapting to changing conditions within an aerospace and defense environment.
