In this role, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to all personnel and visitors. Requirements

An armed guard card or license is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and/or first aid certification is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate protocols for an armed post.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible presence.
Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas, in compliance with location protocols.
Document all incidents, observations, and activities clearly and accurately in daily reports and/or logs.
Work closely with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns specific to an aerospace and defense environment.
Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies and/or alarms as required by site procedures.
Maintain proficiency in the use of assigned equipment and weapons, following all applicable regulations and guidelines.
