About The Position
As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Aero/Defense in Marietta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in an aerospace and defense environment, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. This armed and driving post involves monitoring assigned areas, responding promptly to incidents, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements
- Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement military or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
- Possess an armed guard card or license.
- Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- CPR and or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor entry and exit points, checking credentials as required and maintaining awareness of the surroundings.
- Communicate professionally with clients, staff, and visitors, addressing inquiries or concerns related to security-related matters.
- Document incidents and observations clearly and accurately according to Allied Universal protocols.
- Support access control measures and assist with emergency evacuations or lockdowns as directed by site management or Allied Universal guidelines.
