Job Description As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Aero/Defense in Marietta, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in an aerospace and defense environment, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. This armed and driving post involves monitoring assigned areas, responding promptly to incidents, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement military or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
Possess an armed guard card or license.
Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor entry and exit points, checking credentials as required and maintaining awareness of the surroundings.
Communicate professionally with clients, staff, and visitors, addressing inquiries or concerns related to security-related matters.
Document incidents and observations clearly and accurately according to Allied Universal protocols.
Support access control measures and assist with emergency evacuations or lockdowns as directed by site management or Allied Universal guidelines.
