As a Security Officer Dedicated Patrol in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with professionalism while reflecting a caring culture, teamwork, reliability, innovation, agility, and integrity in every interaction.

Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Handcuffing certification is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of platforms, stations, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and public areas, assisting with directions, policy questions, and/or crowd management needs during routine operations and higher-traffic periods.
  • Support public agency operations by observing for unusual behavior, hazards, and/or service disruptions, then communicating with site contacts and first responders as needed.
