As a Security Officer - Dedicated Morning Patrol Driver in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Residential Patrol Officer, where you will monitor and patrol a housing community, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support residents with friendly customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. Guided by teamwork, integrity, and a people-first culture, you will bring a reliable and caring presence to this location every day.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related activities, and appropriate emergency response actions within a residential location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns according to site policies.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential property, including common areas, parking areas, building exteriors, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unwanted activity.
  • Monitor entry points, observe community activity, and communicate with residents, visitors, and/or property personnel regarding rules, concerns, and security-related matters.
  • Support Allied Universal and property management expectations by maintaining a visible presence, following post orders, and reporting maintenance, lighting, and/or access issues that may affect the location.
