About The Position

As a Security Officer - Day Shift Surveillance in Tempe, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Requirements

  • Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies in a healthcare manufacturing location.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns.
  • Monitor access to designated areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate security-related logs and reports in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols and escalating concerns as appropriate.
  • Document observations, incidents, and policy violations, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
