About The Position

As a Security Officer - Data Protection in Mesa, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a leading technology infrastructure location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor assigned areas, and deliver outstanding customer service. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors at a technology data center by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of data center buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or access-control issues.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations and relevant details to site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and maintain professional communication with the Allied Universal team and site personnel.
