About The Position

As a Security Officer - Data Center in Sparks, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed driving patrol officer at a leading tech and media location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a technology-focused location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant details with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may need attention.
Monitor access points and support visitor and badge control practices to help confirm that entry and movement through the location align with site protocols and authorized access requirements.
Observe and report potential risks involving property, equipment, and/or sensitive work areas, helping to support a professional environment and continuity of daily operations.
