As a Security Officer - Data Center in Englewood, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a professional environment through strong customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Have 2+ years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to all visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues through established site protocols when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building, offices, exterior grounds, and/or perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor access requirements, and document security-related events, observations, and incident details accurately.
  • Support day-to-day operations by communicating with site contacts, assisting with lobby and/or gate activity as assigned, and following post orders for changing conditions across the location.
