About The Position

As a Security Officer - Data Center in PHOENIX, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Requirements

  • 1+ years of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a front desk location within a financial institution.
  • Greet visitors, employees, and vendors in a professional manner, assist with access control procedures, and help to verify identities, appointments, and/or visitor documentation before entry.
  • Monitor lobby and reception area activity, answer questions, direct individuals to the proper destination, and report unusual incidents or concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting details and communicating with site personnel and/or first responders when appropriate.
  • Support front desk operations by maintaining visitor logs, issuing temporary credentials, handling incoming calls as needed, and following client-specific protocols for deliveries, after-hours access, and/or restricted areas.
