As a Security Officer - Data Center Patrol in Mesa, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. In this role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a technology-focused location.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, report suspicious behavior, and document incidents, observations, and/or policy violations according to site protocols.
  • Support a professional environment by assisting with badge or visitor-related processes, answering routine questions, and following post orders for assigned areas and/or shifts.
