As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide exceptional customer service. Using clear communication and computer or tablet tools, you will help create a welcoming environment while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-oriented, and integrity-driven values.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or drivers while carrying out site-specific procedures and appropriate emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, administrative spaces, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle entry records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate site contacts.
• Report maintenance concerns, hazards, suspicious activity, and other security-related issues according to site procedures.
