As a Security Officer Custody in Fullerton, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as a driving Security Professional supporting a government law enforcement location. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide professional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
  • Possess 1 or more years of security-related experience.
  • Possess a college degree.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, calls for assistance, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions taken.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned government facility areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, maintain visitor logs, and report unusual activity or policy violations to designated personnel.
  • Communicate professionally with law enforcement personnel, facility staff, and the public while following post orders and applicable procedures.
