As an unarmed patrol professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a vibrant cultural institution, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a welcoming presence for guests and staff. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the location, and respond to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment for visitors, staff, and property.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and public spaces to assist in maintaining order and supporting the client’s policies.
Communicate clearly and professionally with visitors, staff, and emergency personnel as needed.
Document incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and client requirements.
Remain alert and attentive to the unique needs of a cultural institution environment, adapting to varying working conditions as required.
